Call for Short Courses

We welcome the submission of proposals for online Short Courses at IALE 2022. Short courses can be scheduled on Friday, the day dedicated to events organised by Congress participants (see the programme outline) and take the form of presentations, workshops, round tables etc. They are to be open to all congress participants, but may have a maximum number of participants allowed. Apart from typical courses, they can also be open meetings of existing or planned working groups, meetings informing or promoting research funding programs, etc.

Please send your applications to congress@iale2022.eu by May 31, 2022, providing the following data:

  • name of the course/workshop etc.,
  • preferred duration of the course,
  • course format,
  • minimum and maximum number of participants, if applicable,
  • concise description of the course,
  • responsible person with contact details.

All proposals will be subject to review by the Congress Organisers. Please note that the Congress Organisers offer virtual platform for Short Courses during the Congress, but do not contribute financially or act as an intermediary in collecting any fees from participants.

If you would like to organise a closed meeting for a dedicated group of congress participants (e.g. meeting of a national IALE chapter) on the Congress virtual platform, please also contact us at congress@iale2022.eu.
